In recent years, applications have become an important computing tool for us. travel reservations; hospital and doctor visits; banking and financial services; utility bill payments, all available at your fingertips – thanks to apps. Several important government services are also available through these apps. These include Public Sector Banks, Aadhaar, PF and many more. However, most of these services are in the Google Play Store and can be accessed by Android users; they are not there on the Apple App Store. This means that iPhone users cannot use them on their phones. Here are some of those prominent apps.
MyGrievance
Developed by the National Grievance Center in collaboration with the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, the MyGrievance app allows users to file grievances against central and state government organizations. The app also allows users to track the status of their complaints in real time.
myCGHS
Available to central government employees, the app allows users to book, cancel or view appointments with doctors and wellness centers. Users can also use the app to check the hospitals and labs available on the panel for their treatment.
Jeevan Pramaan
The app offers pensioners an Aadhaar-based digital life certificate with biometrics. Users can download the PDF copy of the certificate using the application with the help of Jeevan Pramaan ID.
DND
TRAI’s DND (Do Not Disturb) app allows users to register their mobile number under DND to avoid Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC) / Telemarketing Calls / SMS.
Registration and stamp duty
The Registration and Stamp Duty application is designed to help the citizens of Meghalaya to know the approximate stamp duty and registration fees required for land registration under the jurisdiction of East Khasi Hills District Sub-Registrar only.
PMO of India
It is the official app of the Office of the Prime Minister of India. The application offers all the latest information, news and more related to the office of the Prime Minister. The app is available in 13 languages and also includes “Mann ki Baat” audio and videos with PM.
Bhashini
Bhashini App is created to build a national public digital platform for languages to develop services and products for citizens by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
Yogyata
The application is an online learning platform. It is designed to help the user learn new skills and make them fit for their future jobs.
Kisan Suvidha
Kisan Suvidha app is designed for farmers to help them sell their produce at a fair price. Using the app, farmers can watch live auctions of any commodity from any marketing yard. The application also helps brokers to control commodities bought and sold.
