In terms of battery backup, you get a decently sized 4,820mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging. And the best thing about the phone is the 50MP triple rear cameras, making it the first device in the world to feature Leica’s new 75mm floating telephoto lens.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is priced at Rs 79,999 in India for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. But the best part is that you can avail an instant discount of Rs 10,000 with ICICI Bank Cards, bringing the effective price down to Rs 69,999. And for the price, it looks like a solid package.
Realme GT3

Just like its Chinese counterparts, Realme had some great stuff at MWC 2023 in Barcelona. In fact, the phone maker has globally premiered its most ambitious smartphone yet, the GT3. Ambitious because it includes some specifications that have not been seen on a Realme smartphone before. For starters, you get 240W of wired fast charging support, which is simply amazing. Then you get specs like a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and a triple rear camera setup with a primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor.

Nokia G22

HMD Global has jumped the snooze button and made a long-awaited unveiling at MWC 2023, launching the G22 mid-range smartphone in the UK and other European markets. It is a unique presentation in the sense that Nokia, in cooperation with the American portal iFixit, brought the new G22 versatile repair options. The partnership actually means that Nokia G22 users will be able to get damaged displays, faulty batteries and bent charging ports replaced – even after the warranty has expired.
Now let’s get to the specs. The Nokia G22 is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset along with 6GB RAM (4GB + 2GB virtual) and 64GB storage. The front of the phone features a 6.52-inch HD+ panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. As per the market trend, the Nokia G22 also comes with a triple rear camera with a 50MP primary sensor as the highlight. There is also a 5,050mAh battery under the hood with support for 20W fast charging.
Honor Magic 5 Pro

Unveiled at the company’s MWC 2023 briefing, the Honor Magic 5 Pro is Honor’s latest flagship. In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a “quad floating screen” which is made to bring you even more convenience. It has a 6.81-inch OLED panel with a maximum brightness of 1800 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Features like Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, triple 50MP rear cameras, 12MP selfie camera and 5,100mAh battery with 66W fast charging support make it a feature-packed Android flagship.
The Honor Magic 5 Pro has been priced at a staggering price tag of EUR 1,199 (Rs 1,05,400 approx) for the 12G + 512GB variant. It will be available in color variants like Meadow Green, Black and Glacier Blue. It will also be available in two leather versions – Coral Purple and Orange. While the smartphone is yet to receive an Indian price tag, expect it to be in the range that the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra are going for.
OnePlus 11 concept

When it comes to premium smartphones, the once-flagship brand OnePlus is slaying at MWC 2023. The phone maker unveiled the OnePlus 11 Concept, a smartphone with a compact cooling mechanism that works wonders. Equipped with something called the Active Cryoflux Liquid Cooling System, the OnePlus 11 Concept heats up to 2.1 degrees Celsius during demanding tasks. This was made possible by the use of “industrial ceramic piezoelectric micropumps” and certain blue pipes to help reduce heat.
According to OnePlus, reducing heat can help immensely in mobile gaming. For starters, it can increase the frame rate by up to 4 frames per second. It also helps reduce the temperature during charging, which is key to charging the phone significantly faster. Other features of the smartphone include a glass unibody design with a microfluidic flow cooling mechanism running on the rear panel. And to make it even more premium, the smartphone will have Guilloché etching around the rear camera, which is usually found on high-end watches.
