HMD Global-owned Nokia has launched a new feature phone with a clamshell design. Named Nokia 2780 Flip, the phone comes with FM radio support and is offered in two color variants. It features a T9 keyboard design and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. Nokia’s brand new feature phone is currently available in the US. The company did not reveal whether the phone will be available in other markets.

The Nokia 2780 Flip comes with a price tag of $89.99, which is roughly ₹7,400. Buyers can choose from blue and red color variants of the device. According to Nokia’s US website, the phone’s estimated delivery date is November 7.

The Nokia 2780 Flip has a clamshell design and offers two screens. There is a 1.77-inch TFT display on the back cover, while the phone’s main screen measures a 2.7-inch TFT display. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 214 processor that offers a peak download speed of 150 Mbps.
For optics, the feature phone comes with a 5MP rear camera with fixed focus and LED flash. Nokia 2780 Flip comes with FM radio and MP3 support along with Wi-Fi Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. The device is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and has 512 MB of internal memory.
The feature phone comes with single SIM support and has a USB Type-C port for charging. The device runs on KaiOS operating system which supports WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, the company has re-launched the Nokia 2660 Flip in India. The phone offers a dual screen – a top small screen and a secondary large display that remains hidden until flipped forward. The feature phone also has a T9 keyboard. The Nokia 2660 Flip feature phone has a price tag of ₹4,699. It is offered in blue, black and red color variants. It features a 2.8-inch internal display and houses a 1,450mAh battery. Nokia claims the feature phone can provide hours of battery life on a single charge. The feature phone also features the iconic Snake game and wireless radio connectivity.

The phone runs on KaiOS 3.1 which brings features like FM radio, MP3 support and Wi-Fi support.
The device features a Qualcomm 215 chipset, a quad-core CPU running at 1.3GHz and an X5 LTE modem with a maximum download speed of 150Mbps, the report said.
The phone is powered by a 1,450 mAh battery, which is also removable.
It also supports VoLTE and RTT, which allows users to send texts during a call.
Nokia said the phone has 512MB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM, though that could be a misnomer because a feature phone doesn’t require that much memory, he added.
Meanwhile, in August, the company launched the Nokia 2660 Flip, which comes with distinctive features like a large display, large buttons, headset compatibility and an emergency button for Indian consumers.
Priced at Rs 4,699, the Nokia 2660 was available in Black, Blue and Red colors.
